This variety of the classic summer dessert comes together with minimum prep time!
Quick Strawberry Shortcake
3 pints fresh strawberries
1/2 cup sugar, plus two extra tablespoons
One bag Mrs. B’s buttermilk biscuits
Can of whipped cream
• Slice strawberries and toss with 1/2 cup sugar. Set aside.
• Preheat oven to 400
• Spray a cookie sheet with Pam and place six biscuits on it for baking. Bake when oven’s ready & set timer
• When biscuits are done, cut them in half while hot and top with butter then strawberries then whipped cream then another layer
• Drizzle tops with strawberry syrup made from your berries/sugar mix
