Get into the holiday spirit with cheery music! The Cincinnati Dulcimer Society and the Colerain High School Chamber Orchestra will be performing festive music.

A holiday tradition returns. Enjoy singing and dancing, humor and joy, magic and music with the Holiday Pops. Share the holiday cheer by bringing new or gently used coats, hats, gloves or socks to the concert to benefit City Gospel Mission.

WYOMING’S HOLIDAY CELEBRATION   

6 – 8 p.m.

Wyoming Civic Center,  1 Worthington Ave, Cincinnati

The City of Wyoming and the Junior Woman’s Club “Light Up Wyoming” will join together for a spectacular holiday event. Family and friends can join together for an exciting evening featuring horse drawn carriage rides with pick up points at the Village Green and at the Civic Center. Stop by Wyoming Avenue to visit Santa in the gazebo, do some holiday shopping, enjoy holiday music, watch the amazing ice carver, and grab a bite to eat! Welcome the sights and sounds of the holiday season at the Civic Center which will feature holiday music, dance, desserts, hot chocolate, and more!

HOLLY DAYS AT HERITAGE VILLAGE

12 – 4 p.m.

Heritage Village Museum,  11450 Lebanon Rd, Sharonville

Experience the warmth and beauty of holiday traditions of the 19th century. Each historical house will be decked out with traditional decorations from the 1800’s. The whole family can sample homemade holiday treats and children can make traditional holiday crafts and visit Mother Christmas. Watch model trains chug through villages in large model train displays and listen as musicians fill Somerset Church with holiday music $10 per person, Free for members and children 4 and under.

LUMINARIA AT CINCINNATI OBSERVATORY

The streets of Mount Lookout are filled with holiday lights and merry carolers during the 43rd annual tradition Luminaria. Make your way to the Cincinnati Observatory for stargazing through the historic telescope (weather permitting).

SHOW AND TELL ON THE FARM: ICE HARVEST

Chrisholm MetroPark Historic Farmstead, 2070 Woodsdale Rd, Trenton

Explore ice during this week’s Show and Tell. How was it harvested in Butler County before refrigeration? Where did it come from? Fun hands-on activities and experiments along with snack and craft inside the beautiful, warm Augspurger House.
