Farbach-Werner Nature Preserve, 3455 Poole Road, Colerain Township

Pick up a nature scavenger hunt challenge sheet. Complete the items on the list by answering questions as you walk along the trail. When you’ve completed the hunt, turn your list in at the barn for a nature sleuth’s prize.

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL PRESENTS CRYSTAL

FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, 3400 Vine St., Cincinnati

4 – 9 p.m.

The 36th Annual PNC Festival of Lights will once again transform the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden into a “Wild Wonderland”. Bask in the glow of 3 million LED lights, watch a Mad Cap black-light puppet show, ride the BB&T Toyland Express, search for fairies in Fairy Land, marvel at the spectacular Swan Lake show and enjoy seasonal treats like hot chocolate and s’mores.  Be sure to visit Santa Claus each day starting at 4 p.m., an hour before the rest of the festival festivities begin.
