Encounter a fortune teller, a witch, mad scientist and headless horseman or even walk through a haunted cemetery … if you dare. This slight-fright event, all set in a 19th century village, also features a wagon ride, face painting and balloon animals.  

 

Kamikaze Fireflies

$30 and up

Your families jaws will drop when they see the four-time Guinness Book of World Record holders, the Kamikaze Fireflies, perform their vaudeville show. The duo will spin in gigantic metal cubes, juggle, walk on stilts, breathe fire and perform other daring stunts.

Bring the family for a day of fun fall festivities!  Wear your costume to join the costume dance party at 1 p.m., trick-or-treat with local vendors, enjoy some Halloween games, live music and entertainment. Get there early, the first 250 kids will each receive a small pumpkin!

Join acclaimed local author Artie Knapp to celebrate the release of his newest book, Little Otter Learns to Swim. This new children’s book follows Little Otter as her mother teaches her how to swim, dive and play. As she bravely goes into the world, she realizes it is a big world out there for a little otter, so she heads to the safety of home. Copies of Little Otter Learns to Swim can be pre-purchased at the Blue Manatee Bookstore, or purchased the day of the event.
