Explore this quiet, cold and snowy season with a story time and craft at the park. For children ages 2 -4 years old.

FREE STAR DAZED

8 – 9:30 p.m.

Fernbank Park, 50 Thornton Avenue, Cincinnati

Investigate which stars illuminate the winter night sky with Great Parks and the Cincinnati Astronomical Society.

PENGUIN DAYS

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens, 3400 Vine Street

It may be chilly outside, but many zoo animals are loving the winter weather. Visit the zoo all February long for half price admission and special animal encounters, including the popular penguin parade.

SECOND SUNDAY FAMILY SHOWTIME: MARTIN’S DREAM

2 p.m.

CCAC At Clifton United Methodist Church, 3416 Clifton Ave., Cincinnati

Get to know Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  from his childhood in the Deep South to his historic “I have a dream” speech during this one-man show brought to life by Deondra Kamau Means. This performance is presented by TCT on Tour: A Division of the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati.

STEAMTEAM GRAPHITE CIRCUITS

3 p.m.

Cincinnati Museum Center, 1301 Western Ave., Cincinnati

Make predictions, experiment and have fun while learning at the museum. Today’s challenge is to light an LED bulb using scientific inquiry and a graphite circuit.

Program included with admission/membership: $14.50 Adults, $13.50 seniors, $10.50 children 3-12, $5.50 toddlers 1-2, free for 1 and under.
