Mom Report: Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy

by |

This year my oldest will be 6. SIX! I enjoy celebrating birthdays and planning celebrations around their current interests … right now, my son really likes Lego Ninjago and Pokémon. When I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday, I was not surprised when he said, “Do a Ninja Course.” It was perfect timing. Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy started offering ninja classes this fall and now also offers ninja birthday parties!

My daughter had her 2nd birthday party at CGA and we loved it. So, I called and booked the party. It was easy peasy. I picked the date, time, theme and paid. They gave me the ninja themed invitations and he handed them out to his friends. The day of his celebration, all I had to do was bring the cake and drinks. Everything from set up, plates, napkins, party favors, and clean up was taken care of by CGA.

My son had a blast! They set up the gym as a ninja course where kids had to climb up walls, jump to pedestal mats, walk across beams, use the monkey bars, flip, climb ropes, jump into big pits, and more. It was perfect for the kids that like to run, jump, and pretend to be a ninja warrior.

The CGA instructors were great! They split our large party into two groups and had both groups in motion, which gave me time to put cupcakes on plates, open up my son’s special Ninja Pikachu cake, and take lots of pictures. Towards the end of our hour-and-a-half party, the instructors guided gift opening and recorded the gifts that my son received. This was just one more thing that was off of my “plate” and allowed me to talk with our guests.

From start to finish both of our parties at Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy had our kids engaged, giggling, and were easy for mom and dad! Thank you CGA for another positive experience and great birthday memories.
