Kid Report: Flash Photography

by |

Picture taking can be a drag for plenty of kids, but 6-year-old Landon gave us the scoop on where it’s a blast!

“We went to a place called Flash Photography. We got to go around and pick out different “stages” (backdrops) for our pictures. I picked one with candy and another one with bunnies. My sister picked a fancy background. The best part … there was a REAL bunny. The bunny was named Tuesday which I thought was funny because we got our pictures taken on a Tuesday.

Next, the photographer told us how to do some poses. She put a funny bear on her head, but the bear kept falling off. It made me and my sister laugh a lot. In some of the pictures she let me hold the cute bunny. The photographer lady was really nice and she took our pictures pretty quickly.

Finally, she took out the pictures (i.e., uploaded them to the computer) and we got to look at them. I want to go back again and get my picture taken with every single stage. My sister wants to do the kitchen pictures with the cake and cooking stuff. My mom’s favorite part was she now has more pictures of her babies.”

From Mom: After about an hour wait at another photography place, I decided it was time to leave. My children were getting antsy and they wanted to go home. I really wanted spring pictures of my sweet children. I recently grabbed a pamphlet from Flash while I was shopping at Liberty Center and decided to give them a call. My kids were already dressed and ready to go! Flash was very accommodating and told me they could get my kids in. I quickly drove there and they did exactly what they said they would … they got my kids right in. Our photographer Lee was fantastic! She let my kids pick out the back drops and props that they wanted to use and she used props to keep them smiling and laughing.

Flash also currently has a bunny! Now through April 30, they are scheduling live bunny photo sessions for 25, 45, or 60 minutes. At Flash, the only cost you pay is the session fee! When your session is finished you walk away with a Flash drive of your prints!
