Fall Silverware Holder

by |

Here’s an easy way to add a little elegance to the dinner table this Thanksgiving.

Ok, so I didn’t use actual silverware in the photo, but you get the idea. This is an easy craft that the kids can help with, but you will need to be the one in charge of the hot glue.

What You’ll Need
Silverware
Ribbon
Fake leaves
Hot glue

What You’ll Do

  1. With clean hands, stack the knife, fork and spoon together.
  2. Cut a strip of fall-like ribbon (we used a deep red) and tie it around the silverware with the bow on top.
  3. Take two fake leaves of different sizes and colors and hot glue them together.
  4. Then, hot glue those leaves to the center of the bow.

That was easy, right? And, if you have the kids helping, you can make enough for all the place settings super fast. Just have each child in charge of handing you something different. They can even help tie the ribbon around the silverware.
