Bright Star Theatre Puts Education at Center Stage

by |

This summer, immerse your child in artistic education by attending a Bright Star Theatre production. According to its website, Bright Star Theatre is a touring theater dedicated to producing “literary, curriculum- and character-education based classics,” through the collaboration of a talented team of professional actors, directors and designers. Bright Star Theatre travels anywhere and everywhere from big city stages to national parks in the Midwest, putting on performances to “bring the magic of theater to young people who may not always have the chance to see it.” Bright Star will be visiting different venues in the Cincinnati area and putting on three shows on various dates throughout the summer. The first show to grace the Queen City, Aesop’s Fables, will include tales like “The Fox and the Grapes,” “The Tortoise and the Hare” and “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.” The next show to mark in your calendar is Building Stories, a performance which will offer the audience a hands-on lesson in the art of storytelling. Bright Star will close the summer out with the addition of their third show, Happily Ever After, which will feature comedic takes on the Grimm Brothers’ many iconic fairytales.
