About Bear Paddle Swim School

BulletThe warm 90°F saltwater pool and sophisticated pool sanitation system delivers a comfortable and clean swimming environment. Children will experience clean water and air that is gentle to their skin, eyes and lungs.

CERTIFIED SWIM TEACHERS
Swim teachers are certified in the Bear Paddle method of teaching. This includes extensive training in safety, class management and keeping children engaged with enthusiasm, imagination and fun! All teachers are 18 years or older and are CPR certified.

FUN SWIM LESSONS
Story-based lesson plans are designed from a child’??s perspective to keep children engaged and learning throughout their swim lessons. Each child progresses at their own pace and is recognized for their accomplishments with Bear Paddle’??s Skill Patch Rewards.

SMALL CLASS SIZES
Classes are structured by age and ability to accommodate varying abilities within each age group. Student to teacher ratios are 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1. The class sizes for all Level 1 classes are 3:1. The class sizes for Level 2 & Level 7 classes are 4:1. Parent participation class sizes are 5:1.

FACILITY JUST FOR KIDS
The facility is truly kid-friendly. The pool is divided into stations for each level with all the necessary teaching tools. Amenities include family-style changing rooms, kid-sized toilets, sinks, dryers and a Kid Car Wash. For families we offer multiple viewing areas, movies playing all day long and free Wi-Fi.
